Killer Bee Gi Review

The Scutellata Mk I and The Ligustica Mk I are the first generation of a series of Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu gi's KillerBeeGi.Com will be offering.

Killer bees were released in Brazil back in 1957 and since then they have moved northward all the way up into the United States with deadly effect. Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu is also a relatively recent import into the United States and since it's introduction it has forced martial arts to evolve to the next level. These gi's are a tribute to that evolution.

The Scutellata gi is their most durable line of BJJ gi's. Containing double weave threading, reinforced construction, and a rubber embedded lapel, this gi will give you years of usefulness and a lifetime of skills.

The Ligustica gi is their Pearl weave model and is constructed just like The Scutellata but with much less weight to carry on the mat. Compared to The Scutellata's 750 GSM The Ligustica has a GSM of 550. This is NOT a Single Weave gi top.
